You can't (in this day and age) not appreciate the small businessman that takes the time to help those who need and on occasion send them money. Me, I like giving my money to people I know and respect. Thanks Don!

Then there is the engine story.

Last Fall my engine cracked its block

likely due to a poor rebuild job years before

I bought the car. We already spent time and

money on restoring the '71 Grande, now what?

Don got wind of my dilemma through this forum

and contacted me saying he may be able to help.

Help came in the form of a rebuilt 351C 4V quench

long block with a cam, hypereutectic pistons, 'the works'

sitting on a pallet soaked in machine oil and wrapped in

plastic never fired.
