AC capacity R12

Hey all. I was following a thread about AC problems and sort of lost it. I was asking how much to charge my system, some said 1.75 lbs. I found some R12 on marketplace and they are 12oz cans. how would that translate from fluid oz to "lbs"? Thinking bout buying two cans this payday. Thanks!!

If you're adding an oil charge, then expect "about" 2 cans. You'll want to monitor your gauges as you add the freon.
