any tips how to handle this?

New here, so be easy on me lol.

I have this as one of my challenges on my project. Not sure how/if I can handle this myself. Thoughts? Get someone who can weld to patch it?

Battery aprons rotting out is a common problem. They have patch panels reeadily available. I would recommend the replacement panel be welded in. Not a big deal to do for the right shop.

Call Don (OMS) and he can set you up with the replacement panel. I would replace the whole panel vs a patch. Easier to do and better working in the long run.

+ 1 with bkdunha! If you plan on doing it your self, Make sure you get a good Spot weld cutter to remove the panel. Here is one from the Eastwood Company.
