My Car
72 mustang fastback,{mine} 74 Chevy Nova {girlfriends car}
2001 Sunfire that is falling apart haha.
well I was absent for a couple of days but I am back. my main hard drive crashed and had to get a new one installed. That was cash I needed for the car :mad: but can't live without a computer now day's so had to do it.

Ouch! Damn, that hurts...:( Had the same thing happen about a year ago to the laptop, then to the home PC. Funny thing is, I haven't missed the lost files nearly as much as I thought I would. Critical stuff was on a couple of discs, the rest was mostly fluff, I guess.

Anyway, glad you're back with us, Eric!

Glad your back up and running. I am getting an error message on my computer when I start up that the fan is bad; guess I'd better replace it before my hard drive crashes!

I had a funky virus that allowed me to surf the net, but I could not log in to any websites. LOL! Finally decided to back everything up and do a fresh clean on the pc. Runs faster and so virus did good :D main thing is...we're back!

I couldn't even enter windows. The computer would do the dos boot up and the screen would go black. I thought it was a virus because my avg said threat detected then the computer shut down and would not start again but the tech said it was just a freeze up of my main hard drive. Luckily my all my pictures of the mustang and our trips where in a second hard drive along with all the video's and other stuff so I didn't lose anything critical. Only thing that sucks is I lost all my e-mail contacts and had to try and remember all my passwords for all the different sites I go to hahaha. The new hard drive has 5x times the storage capacity of my old on so the computer is much faster now.

I have a 500 gb Buffalo external hard drive that I keep all my important stuff on. Still sucks to lose a drive though, that's where all my programs like Photoshop and Office 2007 live! Takes days to reload all that stuff.
