Just remember that for an original look the battery support needs to be installed prior to installing the battery apron. The lower flange on the support piece is actually sandwiched between the frame rail and the apron..

Having said that, I just bolted mine on the wheel side of the apron. Since my aprons were already welded in and painted when I finally located a used support. Not concourse, but the majority of people will never know that it is incorrect.

I compared this to the original I removed from mine due to battery overload... It appears to be an almost exact duplicate, the only slight difference I could find was the two elongated holes for the battery tray bolts. The original is a tad more square overall when installed. This is a nice piece for a good price.

I knew there was a reason I have procrastinated on welding in the aprons. Now if they can get the fastback seat risers out I can finish the floors right.
I have a restorable passengers side fastback seat riser. The front flange is rotted up about 2 inches. Everything else is good. Drilled from rear floor connections, ground at the tranny tunnel, and separated from the rocker. $25 plus shipping.
