Well I didn't make it to the 66 show but I did go to the show here in town. Mostly GM cars but there were some others. My neighbor son has 1 of few 1934 Packard 12's left.

I love the old Pontiac woody. I still have a soft spot for Ol chief wind in the face.

Those are beautiful cars. What's the black on the top of the woody?

A lot of cars from the 20's thur 40 didn't have a full metal roof. They would make a wood frame and stretch leather or some type of fabric over the frame to make the roof water tight. The car in the pic had shiny material of some type. Kinda like a vinyl top. That car looked real good.
