Binding sound coming from right coil spring

Good evening to all, have a 72 mach1 Q code, having an issue with a binding type of sound coming from right front coil spring. Plan on taking off right front tire and investigating more in am. Has anyone ever had an issue like that? Could the coil be cracked, Hard to place exact location, but def coming from right front shock tower area, Can hear a deep rattle type sound while driving down road. Front end is tight, Had front end aligned and tie rod bushings and ball joints done very recently. thks for any info or ideas you have.

Do you have the spring isolator in place at the top of the spring? Have the lower spring perch rubber pads dislocated? Also check the bushing in the spring perch. You can spray some lubricant on the lower spring perch where the spring sits to see if that changes things.

I suggest you also inspect the lower control arm inner pivot area. The strut rods can pull the control arm forward enough to contact the support structure for that joint and result in a scraping/creaking sort of sound.
