Blue Dash Oad

[73 SGM Mach]

Is there different blue colors on the 1973 dash pads? I think the original color seemed to be a dark blue but all I have found is a light blue dash pad.Also what is the correct color for the metal dash? I think we painted it wrong several years ago and trying to correct it now.

I bought the Ford tooling pad in Medium Blue from NPD back in '06 and have no complaints. Keep in mind that color will and should vary slightly from part to part. If everything was a perfect match, the interior would look very "flat". You'll notice my interior has different hues from part to part.

The NPD interior paint is a good match, I used some last year on the 71 XR7.

I also use SEM Color Coat that I have custom mixed at a local auto paint store. Formula is below. Be sure to follow their TDS for the various substrates. Metal requires a different prep than vinyl or plastic.

Thanks! I would prefer to have it look similar to stock but doesnt have to be spot on perfect. I have attached some photos of how the car sits currently let me know if you see anything I need to improve or change!
