I'll walk over and talk to the NASA guy today. He "promised" his friend another NASA guy, can take the broken ones and remake them. ........ that was 4 months ago.:huh:

Good, your getting a rocket scientist to fix the part. The part should last another 40 years or so. Should not be your problem if it breaks by then.

 
I'm going to borrow some metal shears and attempt an idea I've had for awhile ...I'll either be successful or drunk by the time I finish.
You might want to visit Micro Mark if you are going to try fabbing the clips.

I could recommend a professional model makers shop in the Houston / NASA area that has a great machine shop, but they are very expensive fabbing and prototyping.

hmmm the micromark looks interesting? But I may prefer the VERY EXPENSIVE fab shop instead. I mean who wants to walk around say I could have made them myself for 16.00 opposed to I PAID some dude a ridiculous amount of money just to make 8 clips.....:D
