Looks incredible brother. Congratulations.

Looks beautiful. I am so jealous! As an aside, on the drivers door pillar, do you know whT that 1ā€ alignment hole has that dent in it? My 73 Vert has the exact, same location, dent. Do others have this same condition? Does anyone know why? That same hole on the passenger side is fine. Just curious.

This dent?
I have no idea if itā€™s original or was dented at some time in its life. IMG_4558.jpeg

Yea, I wish I was at my carā€™s home. Iā€™ve got the exact weird contoured hole. I originally thought maybe the car was in an accident and they used that as a chain anchor. I was just surprised to see the same thing on someone elseā€™s car.

The other side has that same hole but no dent by it. It is used for the antenna maybe the drivers side is for right hand drive carsā€™ antenna. But why the dent šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

Love the green... Totally partial to green ;)
Haven't read any other of your posts.
Any side/ hood stripe going on?
Color? Argent? : )

That looks Awesome!
Whover painted that car really knows how to lay down some paint!
The body lines are crisp and sharp, I love it!

As Judge Smails from Caddy Shack would say: Top Notch!! Top Notch!!

As we have discussed before, my car was originally that color and I am just not a green car to own kind of guy, but I really love seeing a really nice green paint job on a laser straight car like that!

Beautiful green, I love the metallics, it looks factory only better, it is going to pop out in the sun!

Thanks like I said green cars look much better in person then pics.
The guy who is spraying is a super nice guy and has been doing it for a long time.
I did almost all the body work and priming myself and it is my first time doing it. Here is a pic of it before I drove it over to my buddies shop. They did go over it and did seal it before base coat/clearing it. IMG_4216.jpeg

Actually going with black lower and stripes.
Thinking of not blacking out the center of the hood. But the wife likes the blacked out hood. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

Color looks awesome!. The glow colors were just fantastic back in the day.

I'd speculate the dent is from the jig when the panels were being welded together. Maybe the guy hated his job and just threw the panels in place.

Thanks Hemi
Yeah the glow colors are šŸ˜Ž
Gold glow I really like
I know they made a few shades of glow colors.
I think the had a Brown glow a Maroon glow Blue glow.
Be nice to see an example of each.
Also I think they used different names on their different brands and even years.
Like green fire and such.

I think Hemi is right. I noticed on my passenger apron, the spot welds across the fit between the ā€œfirewallā€ and that part look various dubious at best:

Itā€™s hard to see in the pic, those 4 barely-there spot welds. The other side looks great. Not trying to hijack the thread. I hope my carā€™s paint job turns out this well.

Wow what a masterpiece! Iā€™m so envious and love the color. Just a question about your last picture showing the two colorsā€¦is the one in your hand the Dodge F8 metallic color and the one on the right the Ivy Glow? I canā€™t afford painting mine in the near future but itā€™s definitely on my list, but itā€™ll definitely be one of these two colors.

I canā€™t remember which one is which and that lighting isnā€™t a good comparison.
This pic the F8 is on the left and the light isnā€™t ideal in it either but a little better. IMG_4467.jpeg

I love that F8 color. I got close to choosing it for my 70 Jimmy but didnā€™t only because for a truck I felt like it would have skewed too close to an army green vibe (which is actually pretty cool but wasnā€™t what I was going for). On a muscle car it looks absolutely fantastic. It was a great choice; just a little more flake and brightness than the Ivy. Will show the lines of your Mustang beautifully.
