new 102mm hole for the pump. I'll be cutting the top of the original pickup gastank out and welding it on for the end allignment and bolt fitment.

Returned from welder...

I used this sunday afternoon on removing the shock towers and frame to make place for the rc107 and found more rust inside...

Feels like everytime I take two steps forward I have to take one back...

Sorry to hear about another rust issue, I hope it's not that much! That engine looks massive, damn! What kind of transmission is behind that engine?

It's a 4R100 tranny, the same as on the super duty diesel haulers... I just took some measurements today and daaaamn it's gonna be tricky!

Well I guess it is a big problem with rust! Specialy because of our part of Europe. Which I did see on my own. My Mach 1 was ship to Denmark derikly from Derbone plant in 73. So they are more likely to have alot of rust. When I got mine back in December 2006. There was a great deal of rust. But I decided to drive it true 2007. Startet in winter time in 2007-2009 to renovation of the front and button. The engine wasn't so good either! Which my body Jens had pulled apart! And needed a full renovation to. But that is life with old cars. But hopefully you can get it done at some point [WINKING FACE] Regards Lars DK73

So the summer’s over and the work continues on the car.

I got the new Koni adjustables installed in the back with new traction bars, basicly completed the rearend so it’s ready for alignment with the new engine and tranny.

The RC-107 haven’t arrived yet, so I’m using the time refitting the rear lights, and fitting the f-150 lights in the original instrument cluster.

Tried to adjust the lines this morning... The Gulf colours are growing on me...

Made new inner fenders last week, and spended all weekend lining everything up.

And of course the entire driveline fitted with rearaxle, shortened and balanced alloy driveshaft, 4R100 transmission mounted on new crossmember and the Modular engine mounted in front.
