I was wondering if any of you have used del-a-lum bushings for the rear leaf springs.I've been thinking about them for a while now and keep waffling on them. I'am going to get either a panhard rod or watts link and from what I understand about them is I wouldn't need those with the bushings, which would eliminate trying to get my exhaust around all that stuff.I wonder how they ride and do they make a difference in a street car. Thanks for any input a head of time.

I have not used Del-Alum bushings, on my last 72 I used an Energy Suspension kit that replaced the front eye bushings and shackles.

Any bushings stiffer than the OEM-style rubber ones will transmit more NVH into the chassis but deflect less.

If your primary goal is handling and your roads are nice and smooth, stiff or solid bushings might be ok, but you'll feel a lot more than with rubber or polyurethane.
