Door panel, lock knob

I have to drill a hole in the new door panels for the lock rod to pass through. The question is exactly where to drill the hole. Does anyone have an original door panel that you could take some measurements from? Maybe from the back edge of the panel to the center of the hole and from chrome edge to the center of the hole (deluxe door panels). Obviously this is a one shoot deal so all help would be appreciated.

Hi Chuck,

Just went outside and measured it. On my deluxe door panels it's 90mm from the rear edge and 15mm from the chrome trim on the driver side. On the passenger side it's again 90 mm from the edge but only 12mm from the chrome trim, so I guess 100% accuracy is not needed.

Sorry for the metric measurements but that's all I have here at the moment.
