Several.
I have a pair of NOS sport door panels in Avocado green. I need them to be red for my M code. :D

Using SEM products, can I dye the green ones red or would it be best to sell the green ones and find a red pair?

If the NOS panels are near perfect, you might be better off financially selling them and buying a reproduction (Mustang Market) set in red. Chuck

If you have OEM parts my advice would be to keep them.

Nothing fits like OEM. I bought repro dash components and they fit perfect and look great except for a couple of minor issues. Keep the originals and dye them. That's my two cents.

When dying an interior part, does it always have to be dyed a darker color than the original color?

Meaning is it safe to go from dark green to red?...or is that asking for a screw up?

Don..That should no problem..The problem sometimes is when going from say black to white. Did you watch my video on dying parts ? The one thing that may be an issue is the other interior parts may not match the newly dyed door panels which is why I always spray everything so this way it all matches. I would practice a bit on some old parts first since it takes a devolved feel to lay down the dye so the parts don't look painted..

Like a few other guys, I don't think you should dye the green panels, maybe try trading the green ones for some red ones. Just my .02

BTW Qcode351mach love you vids.

I would stick with OEM if possible. The repos suck!

I've got a post out in the for sale seeing a trade. If no bites then I'll dye them. I've got plenty of time before I need them so they'll be green for a while waiting for someone with reds ones to show up wanting to sell or trade.
