Here is a picture of my 71 Mach 1 with no options, so no additional wiring.

Jeff's photos include non-standard wiring (e.g. starter) so don't take everything he shows as gospel for a stock wiring set-up. There are also differences between Mustangs with tach-dashes and standard dashes.

This one is not all shiny and clean but it is original 1973 Mach 1 with every option that adds to the wiring.

Power Windows, rear window defogger, air cond., AM / 8 track, gauges, convenience group. It is as came from factory. The original battery cable is somewhere in a box, lol. Took off so it would not be used up back in the 80's and will never find it.

I can get other pics just ask for a certain shot.

here is another picture of a 73 H code with fewer options. Notice it has no separate terminal block next to the solenoid.
