Can't watch this, every car I see coming toward you, I search for the brake pedal!

Thought few times to rent a car in UK when I was there, I think it was wise not to.

Nice country roads.

Oh how that brings back memories!! Except I've not driven a 'lefty' over there. That HAS to be a bit different.

When I am over in the UK, I love driving the country roads, scared the crap out of my Canadian wife though last time over.

As for Fabrice's comment, it's really no different to driving on the right, you're in the same relative position on the road, just got to remember to look left for the rear view mirror and of course, you're grabbing gears with the left hand as well. If anything, it's going the opposite way around "round-abouts", that'll have you guessing.

Car sounds nice by the way and did you decide on tyres yet?

Geoff.

Hi Geoff

Once I have used up the summer on these - I'll get some BFG's

When you were in England - I hope we didn't give a you a hire car the size of a peanut  ::thumb::

Tyres, (love spelling it the way it should be!!) Good plan man!

The last time I was home, I did have to rent a car, but it was not that small. Can't remember what it was now, been 4 years. Prior to that I had my own car that I kept at my brothers place. Alas it finally broke down and not worth fixing. I don't get over as much now, nor do I expect to go anytime soon.

Have fun driving on the left!

Geoff.

PS what have you done about a bigger mirror on the right side? I have a PFD of an enlarged mirror for convex that I/we need over here, but if you prefer, you could get a flat mirror cut that would give way better vision. Here it is as an attachment. Unfortunately most of my comments were within others threads that I don't currently have.

FYI, I'll be off site for 2 weeks.
