Koala's are fluffier down here in Victoria John in order to protect themselves from the cooler conditions; we southerners have learned not to eat them because of the chronic furballs we used to get (shame too, because deep-fried Koala ear chips are so darn tasty....)

I'm curious...If you guys call Kangaroo's and Wallabies grasshoppers, what do you call the insect species of grasshopper?

I'd call the grasshopper "a bloody nuisance".

Here's a picture of a bowling green in my town taken during last years locust plague (yes, the dark areas are dead grasshoppers). The skies were thick with the little blighters, and I couldn't take the Mustang out for about a month period unless I wanted to spend the rest of each afternoon cleaning hopper guts off my paintwork.....

I've never been a fan of eating bugs...Haha!

I was looking at the board statistics on the main page and copied them below!

We can take a look next year at this time and see how much we have grown.

Also, how about on July 1st lets try to beat the "most users online at one time" record of 88 that stands at 1-22-2011 at 09:09 PM. Anyone up for this and what's a good time to do this?

+1 on the congrats to Barry. As far as eating a grass hopper been there done that. "We have an insect museum and they had a tasting at one point. They where deep fried crickets and they tasted like potato chips" I'll bring some of Quebec's delicacy called "Poutine" to the party. For the uninitiated it is french fries covered in cheese curds and gravy. It is like eating a piece of heaven hahaha
