Give it a couple of days a real good one may turn up. After that I have two, that are OK, you can have the best for shipping only.

Well not only, you have to take the Garrage Point that goes with it.

Do you want correct for 71-3 Mustangs or just a Ford unit that fits?

Ray

Nevermind. Saw on another thread where you are modding the car so no worries. Ray

I have a factory AM/FM that came out of my 73 back around 1990 when it was restored. Unfort, I can't confirm if it works or not but it's looks in great condition.

I've received a few inquires on my radio and will post a pic tomorrow.

Ok, here are 4 pics of my radio. This radio was in the trunk of my 73 when I got it in Feb 2013. I did speak with the owner of my car who owned it from 1987 to 1998 and did the restoration in 1990. He happened to find a radio/cassette and swapped it out. So to the best of my knowledge it should work, but I can't guarantee it. The owner before me kept the 73 in a climate controlled warehouse, which I'm positive that he kept the radio in a box on a shelf and not in the car.

I'm not looking to be greedy but fair and the price I'm considering is $150 plus shipping.

Does my price seem within the ballpark or to high or low?

There are two members here that are interested in the radio and clevelandcoupe does have first right of refusal since he did contact me first.

Just an FYI

The correct 71 am - fm says MUSTANG on the faceplate it is rare.

That is not the correct radio for a 73. Your radio is from a 78 and later. Good luck.

Jeff
HMMM?? How can it be from a 78 or later if it was in the 73? I'll contact the owner from 87-98 who did the restore on it.

The part number is on the side of the pic you listed...D8AF (the D stands for the 1970's and the 8 is the year in the 70's, so D8 equals 1978)

Do you know of a site to verify that?

Thanks for the site. Still doesn't make sense to me how it came with the car.

Stuff gets switched all the time on 40 year old cars. The original probably stopped working and someone switched them. Doesn't take long to swap them out.
