Fuel Pump Fitting

David, is that a stock 5/16th line off the pump? My question is how to convert to a 3/8 th line off the pump without leaks or using a length of rubber tube as I did/

It is the small one so no help. Are you starved for gas and need more?

 No not really, but as the Holley chrome supply tube to the carb is 3/8" it has a 1/2" (?) thread connector, so it made sense to buy a length of premade tube that I could shape as I wanted and to avoid secondary fittings to make it all work. I was not able to find a fitting with the appropriate sizes and no idea if it even exists. I still feel that a short length of rubber hose is a good idea to avoid harmonic vibrations and possible line failure. Also mine is out of sight, just looks ugly.

Ok I understand now, and yes you do need a soft connection on one end. Stock is at carb. and yours is hard there so fuel pump is the place.
