THAT sounds so sweet!!!!!!

I would love to find one of those PANTERAS I would actually consider trading the 71 mach1 and the 49 f1

is that wrong???
Ya know I gotta say I took it for a test burn today...The wow factor wore off real quick !! Not easy to drive..Clutch is hard as hell..The seats suck..the interior layout isn't fantastic..I like my mach better !!! Not a car I would drive much or even take the wife out in .I don't know..I just got back from taking my 05 vette out for a spin & for what my friend paid (30 large BEFORE ANYTHING JUST TO BUY THE CAR) I paid less for the vette & it put's that car to shame in every aspect...except for the It's a pantera factor..So what I'm saying is that unless one came my way for super cheap I'd rather have the vette... Or my mach for that kind of $$$$ ..JMO :D

I agree. Drove 1 back in the 80's as for the money was not impressed. Of course what fits 1 man bad may fit the owner just right. It's always good to get the chance to try out something different.

Sweeeet!

I know a guy who actually restored one to race in classic car races! I personally think that's a shame as it's gonna get hurt and bruised bad during those.

(The guy belongs to the racing team I got the 302 block for my coffee table from, if you remember the thread..)

I've always had a serious longing for a Pantera, but the one I did drive didn't impress me. The clutch was terrible and it felt like my forehead was stuck to the windshield. It's been said that there are two types of Pantera owners. The future ones that want one and the present ones that want to sell it. All said though, I would still fall for one in the right condition for the right price, although a 2 year old GT500 for the same price makes a lot more sense. Since when did we think with our head though.

So owning a Pantera is like owning a boat? :p

A couple of em here for sale, but nowhere near as sexy as this one. I don't care for the side skirt look seen on some, but this one is done just right.
