Thanks everyone!

My plan is to rebuild the Toploader which is in bad shape and enjoy that car. I just order a book to help me redressing hte gearbox.

Rear end is also making noise, looks like sound of a bearing, I'll see. Car is now ok regarding the papers and technic control.

Car is jack up, tomorrow evening start to work in horizontal position :)

I'm going to try to continue this topic because I stopped along the way, like many things I do, and it's not cool for me, nor for you.
Well, I rebuilt the gearbox with a kit, the rear axle bearings have been changed, they were making a terrible noise. I adjusted the carburetion and the ignition, mechanically it's ok. The engine, which is a Windsor, is stamped 1976, it's a pity but I couldn't find the original block.

At the moment, the car is at the body shop, I knew that there would be some work to do, but I was far from thinking that the damage was so important. The bodywork has been chewed, with up to 1 cm of thickness in some places. And you can guess why when you look at the pictures. In some places, some pieces of sheet metal have been welded over the body instead of being straightened.

On the video, it's my car that was racing on the street, this car was bludgeoned, and now it's bludgeoning my wallet.

More on this next episode when I visit the body shop to see the progress.

Cool car!

I am more curious about that euro style car trailer. How much does that thing weigh? How do you load/ unload?
This trailer has a weight of about 8000 N. To load or unload a vehicle, there are ramps that slide under the trailer and are put in place when needed.

Congrats on finally getting one!

Can you expand on what’s going on with the fold down seat as it looks like it doesn’t sit the same as the normal fold down. How is it being held up?

Actually the whole interior is disassembled but I must have photos of the interior with the rear seat unfolded. Otherwise there is the same small door to insert skis or something.
