Welcome. Since not numbers matching & you have interest in the sprint heritage, keep the sprint stripes but do whatever color combo you like. I personally like the white & blue but what you have now looks good too.

I'll definitely keep the sprint stripes. I'll just keep weighing the color options as I get closer to the body work. I'm going to knock that out probably around the end of the year. The shop quoted me five grand so I've got a few more pennies to save up for now.

Still trying to find that sweet spot with the choke. Now I'm just waiting for my new door panel, arm rest and base to get here to clean up the doors. Think next paycheck I'll pick up a Weiand Xcelerator. Trying to decide if I want to get the aluminum heads now or wait until down the road and finish up some of the more glaring things like the body damage.

One things for sure though, if I don't get new bushings this week I'm going to kill myself with the kind of squeaking as it groans constantly over any tiny imperfection in the road (tip: there's a ton)

I think a restomod in the original Sprint colors would be cool. Honor the heritage of the car only BETTER!
