Hey Guys,
I'm in the process of lining up my new aprons and I'm second guessing the brackets that looked hand made that are located on top of the aprons. It almost looks like they built these for extra support since the aprons were rotting away. Any quick response would be appreciated. I also included a pic. I'm not seeing the part on the body manual I have. It appears that the hinges bolt directly to the apron and cowl bracket according to the manual. Is this the case?
Thanks,

Right below the finger you can see a hole that is used to bolt the bracket onto the shock tower flange. The front bolt on the hinge towards the shock tower is bolted through the bracket and into the apron on the hinge. Again it looks like it was put in as extra support. I don't want to include it if it's not needed and would like to line the aprons up correctly.Hey Guys,
