Hi guys

First sry for my bad english.

Here is my problem

I live in europe and i have to split the brake lights with the turn signal lights.

I installed in my 1973 Mustang a 68 Shelby taillight and when i brake and blink on the same time than one side will blink and the other one is on brake

But i want that i can use both at the same time.

So

Where do i best cut the brake lights and make a new strang to the lights?

Would it work if i cut it on the brake light sensor and making new cables back to the lights?

Thanks a lot

I hope u can read it.? :/

Andreas

HI

Thanks a lot cool.

With this i still need to rewire a seperate brake cable to all lights again.

So when i just cut the output from my braking light sensor and connect it to all lights than it should be seperate or?

I now have 12 lights installed 6 per side

3 turn signal lights (because i need an orange light)

and 3 for the standard and hopefully soon my brake light

thanks a lot

andreas

The brake lights are combined with the turn signals within the turn signal switch. You can tap into the green wire going to the turn signal switch (that's the brake lights) and route that to separate lights for the brake lights. I suspect the turn signals will work just fine without the brake light signal NOT going to the turn signal switch. For this to work, however, you'll need separate bulbs for the turn signals and brake lights.
