As you know I am rebuilding my steering column and right around the ignition lock I found a little spring clip that slides into the cylinder hole, but according to this pic there are supposed to be 2. Is this right? Am I missing one? If so, does anybody have one they can part with? Thanks!!

Omie01, the shop manual and Ford parts catalog both specify two required. Pretty common part that was used on all Ford corporate vehicles that went to the column mounted lock cylinder in 1970. Part # is DOAZ-3E701-A and was used from1970 through 2/76 when a design change eliminated the need for the 3E701spring clips. The DOAZ-3E701-A was discontinued from Ford in 1995. Don @ Ohio Mustang Supply, Mike @ Motor City Mustang, or even a fellow forum member could probably help you. Good Luck with your project!
