- 1973 Mustang Convertible
Hello from Brisbane, Australia.
I'm a proud owner of a lovely '73 Mustang Convertible.(Gold Glow Metallic, 302 Windsor) This car was bought new in Ohio in 1973 as as base model, vanilla, no extra options car, and was very well looked after for 36 years by the original owner, then sold on to a second owner in Indiana, who owned it for one year. She was then shipped to Australia and spent another year in Adelaide. I bought it and have owned the car for about a year. She is an original, clean, rust free, genuine 47,000 miles car, that's been very well looked after, and is in all round fantastic condition.
My plan is to enjoy owning and cruising around in the Stang, and slowly making improvements and upgrades to the car as time rolls on.
I'm in my mid fifties now, and have spent my all working life as an Auto Tradesman Spraypainter, althought ironically, the car really does'nt need respraying at this stage.(Still sports the original paint)
Anyway, i hope i will enjoy the forums and connecting with great people.I guess we never stop learning.
Thank you, Austin.
