I have had my eye on this car since childhood. It was bought new by my neighbor and wrecked in 1981 and parked in a barn. I attempted to buy this car for years until the owner became too old to rebuild it and gave it to us before the barn fell on it. I have owned since 2011 and just now getting to work on it.

Hello from Mississippi. Glad you were persistent and were able to save this one from sure death in the scrap yard. There have been many of us here who have heard the "I'm gonna Restore/Fix Her Up One Day"! Then months/years later you find what's left of the carcass in a junkyard minus the power train and waiting it's turn for the crusher.
