After not wrenching for close to 20 years I got the bug again. My wife spotted me looking at a 1973 Chevelle on Ebay and bought me the car for a Christmas gift. In my youth I'd always been a Ford man so I thought the chevy would be a good challenge.

Gutted the interior, removed all the glass, POR15, rebuilt the 454, replaced the wiring, put new A/C back in. And so on. My wife recovered the seats and redyed the interior. Took just over 2 years.

Then spotted my Mach 1 project. Bought it last fall and have just started it as a project and figure it will take a tad longer. I attatched before and after of the Chevelle and an old pic of me in my youth. Look forward to talking to y'all.

WELCOME aboard!

It looks as if you really got "into the work on the Chevelle. I have a friend who had a '70 454 back in the day. That puppy could haul the freight!

Anyway, I look forward to interacting with you on the Forums. Again, welcome to the Site!

Looks like the Chevelle turned out great, but I'm sure since you are a Ford fan the Mach 1 will be even better. Keep us posted on your progress.
