I'm trying to find the pin that you depress to get the lock cylinder out of my 72 Mach 1. I have the steering wheel off. I can't find the pin you depress to slide the lock cylinder out.

It is hard to see, the turn signal switch partially obstructs the location. It is near the bottom of the base of the column that the key tumbler goes in, near the center of the column. It will look like a small (.100) blind hole. Insert a small drill bit or pick and press. If it has never been apart you may have to press more than you think you should need to.
