Hello all,

Been a mostly lurking member here for over a decade, but finally have the opportunity to start rebuilding my 71 M code Mach 1.

This is my first car, bought at 15 back in the mid-90's that was my daily driver through my 2nd year of college, then during my time in the Navy I stored it in my dad's barn and somehow let it sit for 16 years.

Now, i'm finally in a place where I can spend some money on it and am ready to get it back on the road.

I've appreciated all the motivation i've gotten here as well as all the tech tips and advice i'll get going forward. I plan on starting a build thread as the rebuilding process has already begun.

Here are some pics from late summer '24 when I went to retrieve it from its 16 year slumber.

Hello from Maryland

Welcome to becoming more active with the group. Glad your in a good spot to start rebuilding your dreams. There will be some days of frustration, just know those will pass and the opportunity to relive days of old is well worth it. Looks like you have a good starting point and hopefully the rodents haven't made the path more difficult. Keep us posted.
