1973 Mustang Mach 1
I'm currently in the process of restoring the interior in my Mach. Can someone please post some pictures of un-restored deluxe blue interiors? I'm trying to restore mine to look as original as possible.

I have a collection of pictures I've retrieved from Google, however I am unsure which ones are 100% original (and haven't had components repainted). Perhaps one of you guys has an all original Mach 1 with a deluxe blue interior?

Your help is much appreciated.

If no one else comes along, I'll post some pic's of my 72 mach 1, It's close to original but not quit, it has white guage faces new carpet a CD player, I thing the seats have been recovered,

It's in too good of a condition to be 40 years old...

But if it helps I'll post up the pics I have. I don't have acess to the car at the moment as it's at a panel shop at the moment getting the roof repainted, and the front and rear spoilers repainted.

I have some pics of my 73 vert interior, but I did restore it to original back in the mid-90's. Most of the work was cosmetic since the car only had 42K on it and was in very good condition. One item that I could not bring back to original was the seat covers. Mine held up well for a long time, but in 2003 developed the dreaded wallet tear and side seam split on the driver's side seat. I searched for years but could not find the original 1973 blue Comfortweave, so I ended up with the replacement 'stamped pattern' vinyl. Aside from roof liner and some trim pieces, the deluxe interiors for convertibles, coupes and fastbacks are pretty identical.

Is there anything in particular you are looking for?

I have several various interior shots I took of a 180 mile orginal 73 convertable in blue. I must admit I did not focus on the interior in this photo shoot I mainly wanted to get suspension, engine compartment and various metal finishes. I will attach what I have and hope it helps.

Is that the 73 convertible Bob Perkins had at his facility?

Anyway, aside from the blue vinyl floor mats, the original comfortweave and the short shift console (mine has the full length console), it's identical to mine.

It was at Perkins shop and then traded to the current owner for some vintage Schwinn bicycles. Talk about appreciated market value on bikes YIKES!. Last I heard he wanted to sell it it think in the 40K's.
