I recently found the warranty card, the owners manual, operating instructions, and the original build sheet for A Boss 302 I sold 3 days before I was shipped to Germany in 1974. I posted on the Boss 302 registry by VIN trying to find the current owner. After a few helping hand posts, I located and contacted the current owner who is in the process of restoring the car, again. He's owned the car since 1980. He was glad to hear I was sending him all the original information. It my sound strange but, it makes me glad to know my old car is still around and owned by someone who appreciates the car.

{thumbs up} Great story...You always wonder what happened to old rigs you use to own...Glad it ended up with some one who cares about it...Specialy after so many years.

That really great! I have been trying to reunite the window sticker I have from a well optioned 70 sportsroof I use to own, but no luck.

A buddy of mine had all the original paperwork from an R code 7 liter Galaxie he bought new in Bpt CT and sold a couple of years later. Somehow the current owner (who bought the car as a basket case in SC) tracked him down and of course was thrilled to hear the original paperwork still existed.

Its amazing what people keep around for years stuffed in drawers.

Chuck, see if he'll trade you some current pics of the car for the original documents you found for the car...then post them here. :D

He said he would send some pictures. If he does I'll post them.
