Also another thought..... don't forget to paint the underside of the hood's back edge black. They did this from the factory pretty sloppy with overspray. I couldn't bring myself to make overspray on purpose , so i taped it off.  Heres a pic of the original and new.

The black on the back of the hood was so you did not see the car color from the front seat. It was just shot with lots of over spray.

Sounds obvious. Makes complete sense when I think about it now. I have to admit; I have never driven a 71-73 Mustang! There. I said it.
