I gotta give 'em props for doing a good job incorporating all the changes they made. But then I have to step aside and shake my head at the choices of the things they chose to add/modify.
I mean, if that was what the guy envisioned in his head and what he actually wanted, then I almost have to say, "Well Done." It takes some imagination, thought, and skill to make something turn out how it looks in your head. It takes a totally different level of imagination, though, and skill to make it come out as popular and appealing to others.
Do I like it? Not really - not my cup of tea. Looks like a riced-out, wanna-be Transformer to me. But I do recognize there was a lot of hard work to get it to that point, and it's not like it's nothing but a collection of bolt-on J.C. Whitney accessories or someone simply drove by Auto Zone with the crap magnet on full power.
We can always disagree with personal taste, but there's a limit to that before it becomes insulting to the owner. I've learned my lesson having thrown the rocks myself... and also having to defend my choices over the years.
