Howdy, I don't really know my way around this mustang since I am not the one who took it apart originally, so what are some of the must have manuals in order for a decent restoration. I am planning on getting the 71-72 Jim Osborn weld and sealant book already. There is an absolute ocean of manuals out there just want to know which ones are worth the money. Also, the best place to purchase them if possible. Thanks.

I’ve got a whole set of manuals , I’ll let them go cheap . Maybe just cost of shipping, lmk

Get all 4 Jim Osborn books, as well as the original shop manual repro set…osborn reproductions in Lawrenceville GA direct, or National Parts Depot are good sources.

The assembly manuals are a must-have item. If you're a computer guy, the PDF manuals are far better than the printed sets. A little google-fu can strip the watermarks which make then hard to read.

Forel Publishing has excellent PDF versions of the Ford shop manual, and they're inexpensive. The indexing in them is top notch, and they're searchable as well.

West Coast Classic Cougar has a complete 1971 factory wiring diagram available for download. They say Cougar, but it includes the Mustang

I also like the West Coast Classic Cougar manuals offered. A good place to get parts from also.
