My 71 Mach1 Ongoing Upgrades

Tired of looking at the 1980s green Flex-A-Lite fiberglass fan. Finally ordering a stock appearing 6 blade fan rated at 8,000 RPM:

I did the 17118 and a Hayden fan clutch. Worked out great. You should be happy with your setup when you're done.

My shroud is 18 3/4" dia. The fan is 17 1/4" dia. That should give me 3/4" clearance from fan to shroud. That should work.

Received the fan and clutch. The fan is very well made and resembles a stock fan. The clutch came with 4 fan to clutch bolts. I had to provide four 5/16"-24 x 1" grade 8 bolts and washers to fasten the clutch to the water pump pulley. They also supplied a bronze bushing to be installed between the clutch and water pump pulley. I will update this thread when the fan is installed.
