my daughter just reminded me of 40 years ago

She is 16. She just walked in, had been working out ( competitive swimmer). she texts prior saying she picked up on best girlfriend.

They came in...she changed clothes... they wanted the car to go ride around looking at Christmas lights. They walked out and I told my wife... reminds me of 40 years ago....except one thing. i had a bag of pot to go cruise the neighborhood.

LMAO..... sitting here reading it to my wife and laughing out loud!! She thinks its funny cuz she was the goody two shoes and I was the bad boy... we try to keep most of my history somewhat of a secret from the kids and use HER background as the basis of formal living examples.

When they ask "well how did DAD do it" ...she replies....we wont discuss DAD

SO true!!! I told my oldest ( she's been a police officer for 8 years)...when I retire I'm gonna sell everything and buy an RV and ride around the country smoking pot. she said "daddy you cant DO THAT".... I said "you didnt know I was kidding? do you REALLY think i'm gonna sell my cars" ....she paused..."got a point there"
