I need help finding a master cylinder that will fit. Stock MC is too close to the valve cover. Any suggestions for power booster, front discs, rear drums?

I also have a 70 Mach1, 428CJ and a 2007 GT500.

Thanks!
Have you considered a custom hydroboost system? If you are not using the OEM power steering you could use an 12V electric pump and reservoir. I think such a pump came on older (circa 1989) Subaru XT6. The electric pump probably takes less power to operate than an OEM belt driven pump. Chuck

Hi and welcome.

I know I am late to the party but I run a 460 with the same valve covers and actually might have a smidge less clearance from the m/c than what I see in your picture. I have been driving it this way for several years and have never had a contact or rubbing issue because the torque of the engine will make the valve cover rotate away from the m/c not toward it. I can get the valve cover on and off although it isn't easy.

As has been stated the easiest fix is another set of valve covers.

We fixed the problem by shimming the booster on the inside to angle the mc away from the valve cover. I wanted to install the aluminum adapter plate that was made for this problem on the Boss 429 but it was pricey and this fix was cheap and effective.
