I was looking over some pics of the original as well as the movie and never noticed the parking lamps in the lower front valance til last week . What other changes or mods were made? Did they actually use a 73 engine ?

A little info here about it, There where 2 cars used in the flim both originally 71 cars, and not Mach1's....

Both were base '71 Sportsroof cars mocked up as '73s. The paint job was Halicki's own invention too.
