Paint scheme ideas

Here are two ideas for my mustang's paint scheme. Let me know what you think. These pictures were taken in Forza 4.

Damn, the red looks hot around the grey stripe, and I think it would look terrific in real lighting. I'm just more partial to the centered stripe look. Now I'm kinda curious how it would look to put the red around a black stripe on a grey primary? hmm... I'm definitely a fan of grey/black schemes though. That grey on black stripe looks great.

Lol, thanks. Now I can say with confidence that the red pinstriping looks better with a black primary. The more I look at it, the more I like the black with off-centered grey/black striping. Cool idea man. Now I gotta go out and buy Forza 4, cuz the Forza 3 that I have only has a 69' BOSS in the classic mustang department.

I really like the black one with the grey/red stripe. I kinda like the offset placement of the stripe but I would probably go for one center stripe or add one on the passenger side so that they become Le Mans stripes.

Somehow it bugs me that on the hood one air intake is plain and one is under the stripe. With a non-NASA hood I might like it better but this looks kinda off balance.

The rest of the car looks good with the offset stripe, it's just the hood.......

I am doing the double stripe on mine but never thought about a contrast color.

wonder what color would work for red car, and black stripes?

I quite like the grey with the red pin striping. That's how I'm leaning towards painting it. It would look cool with the black but I don't want to either paint or maintain a black car. I hear you about the offset stripe growing on you because when I first did it I wasn't sure about it either.

I kind of like the offset stripe as well. It's unique and pretty cool looking.

I like the use of the red pin stripe, but the offset stripe, IMO, has a European look that I find out of place on a Mustang.

As per suggestion I made a two stripe and a center stripe

I dunno...black is a PITA to maintain and keep clean. I personally like the dark gray with black stripes/red pinstriping. And the offset LeMans style stripe is unique...I think it looks good.

I agree, my dad has a black fiero that I washed and waxed for him and after only two days of sitting in the garage it got dusty. That's why I'm liking the gunmetal metallic with the black 73 Mach 1 stripes and red pin stripes.

That's my favorite of the renderings you've shown. Would be a solid choice.

I love the red stripe! I like the silver outlining the contour of the NASA scoop better than going straight to the end of the hood.

I'm shooting for the gunmetal metallic with the red pinstripes around the 73 style stripes. Whether or no I'll be able to accomplish this myself will remain to be seen.

Whats involved with this Forza4 to make a model like this? I know this is a game for XBOX360. I have one of those for my GKs Yes Im too old to be playing video car games.. I would rather build the real thing.

I would love to model my KigerStang but dont have a clue how to do it.

Im particularly interested in doing a dash model. Since my KigerStang project uses proprietaty dash touchscreens I designed that simulate gauges. Although they are nothing more than digital pictures that animate in real time (sort of like your game).

Can this kind of model be made in the Forza4 game?
