Were power drum brakes an option? My 72 vert L code has front/rear drums, would like to know if it's possible.

All you could order from the factory were manual drums or power discs, but Ford dealers did sell an add-on power booster kit.
Common wisdom is that a power booster is not needed on drums due to them being self-energizing.
