1973 mustang convertible
New member here with a 73 convertible. Put the top and windows down yesterday and cruised around Mobile, AL. Went out this afternoon and put the top up but when I went to put up windows - Nothing. No motor noises, no anything. Checked the 20 amp accessory fuse and it appears to be good, but obviously no power going to any of the switches. Almost acts like the window lock is on. Any ideas where else I could look. I don't have repair manuals yet.

The accessory fuse just provides power to the coil in the relay David mentioned.

You can go to the Data tab at the top of the page and download the wiring diagram for your car.

Thanks for the help!! Now know where to start troubleshooting. Been lurking this forum for few weeks and knew there was lots of knowledge here.

Power widows fixed themselves! Weather down here has been too nice to waste time not driving the car with the top down. Cruising around over the weekend, pulled in to the driveway and just touched the button and everything works! Obviously loose connections somewhere but I'll work on that when cold weather comes. Have put over 700 miles on this car since i bought it in Oct so have a long list of "wanna/need" to do minor repairs.
