I do believe the lids are interchangeable thru those years. Just need to measure the aircleaner housing. If it's the same, then even if the raised area where the decal is at were to be different, get the right lid.The problem with the OP's setup is the 68-69 housing with the 90° vent tube in the front. No idea if the diameter / radius of the 71 decal is the same. If originality isn't a concern, then the '68 G-code 302-4V air cleaner decal would likely work best.
