Q-code chrome air cleaner lid - reproduction available?

Some time back, I thought I remembered reading that the chrome 18" lids were available repro, but cannot find them in the usual online suppliers catalogs.

Am I not looking in the right places, or still at the mercy of the rechromer?

The eBay ad mentions a 'Seal' between the lid and base that is included in the deal. What is this? And can it be obtained as a part separately? Does anyone have any info or pics of this 'Seal' ?

I bought one at Carlisle last year. It was Cal Custom. Fresh from the wrapper, it came ready to install with seal installed.

I think the Cal Custom #1256 lid, if it truly is an '80's Mustang/Capri replacement, would have a "drop" to it where it meets the base. Smaller diameter, too.
