I JUST STARTED A RESTORATION AND WILL BE EAGERLY VIEWING AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE DURING MY BUILD.
Has anyone changed out the OEM rag joint and replaced it with regular steering knuckle ?
I'm looking at doing this but the upper rag seems to be attached to the steering intermediate shaft, How would I remove upper rag so I could install the steering knuckle? and is this a bad idea.

some more info....
I have a Borgeson Power steering gear box that requires a 17 mm dd
half rag on the gear box side. Borgeson I think is the only company that makes them and they are 2 months behind on filling orders do to a company move to the South,
so my work around would be to install a steering knuckle instead of the rag joint.
