Well I want to do a lot of things simply because I want to do them. I agree it is overkill. But being ever vigilant in search of better traction and balance is no sin.

I did it to mine just because I like tinkering with things! Plus I have the added bonus that it just looks better in that crowded engine compartment, plus the fact that it helps with weight distributation. So for me its a win, win, win, situation
