After trying a reman '73 pump that hit the shock tower, I started looking into the Saginaw pump. I have a 351c with '70 heads. Was thinking something for a Torino or Cougar would work. Return line close to block would help.

What's the best year/make/model pump to search for?

Thanks,

Alton

Anyone know if a v-groove pulley will go on a 79-93 Mustang pump?

You should be able to get any pulley you want to work just may take a bit of hunting. I would check the psi and flow rating for that pump before going to far. I bought a high performance pump for my car and had to send it back to have the pressure and flow reduced. If you feel you steering is a tad sluggish a lil bit of exrta pressure can be good though. The Saginaw pumps have been a popular upgrade for Ford classics ...
