My Car
Mach 1 - 72 with 460 and c6
Hello
I have a mustang mach 1 1972 with a 429/460. My power steering pump is still healing after renovation at a
company, so now I was thinking of buying a new one but do not know which ones are suitable.
I have original servo hoses so pumps that fit the motor do not fit with the hoses.
I also need mounts for the pump because the ones I have now seem to be home-built for my current pump.

Attach some pictures of my pump and motor.

Code:
Which of these would fit and be best? Links to a few different things I have looked at.

Now, I’m no PS expert, but I believe you have a Saginaw pump, not the stock Lares pump these cars came with. I’m confused if you are asking for advice to buy a new pump? The pictures show an installed and plumed pump. If you wanted to go back to stock, just order the pump, hoses and stock brackets and I suspect it will install fine. The bracket you refer to looks to be from a newer model for, likely for the Saginaw pump. Lots of guys upgrade there vehicle to the newer Saginaw pumps (especially cars with heavy 429 engines) because they preform better than the stock Lares ones do. If your car is not a concourse vehicle, then I would keep the setup you have. I’m not sure I helped you 🤷🏼‍♂️.
