My Car
1973 convertible with 351C and C6 trans
dropped by a bone yard yesterday to see what they had... never knew this one was there.. in middle of nowhere...

u could have knocked me over with a feather.

1969 mustang mach1, factory 428 SCJ engine, 4 speed. her father bought new. needs work to say the least, she turned down my 80k offer.

yes before putting up that kind of cash the numbers on the door would need to look very nice too...

wow wonder how many of those they built ???

5194 SCJ fastbacks.  Not all fastbacks were Mach1.

The value of (and I should say IN) SCJ cars is also dependant on if it is a Q or R code AND IF it is a V or W axle car !

Most prefer the shaker and will pay a premium for a 4:30 gear car.

P.S. Even within this "subset" of unique option is the Sportsroof SCJ (read Non- Mach) It is surprising how many of these cars were ordered sans radios , power brakes and power steering. If you think backing a 71R code without PS into a parking spot is hard - try it with the weight of an FE on the axle!

over 5k build.. surprised to see that, was think half that... i tried to see the door panel info but kinda dark and couldn't make out info.. it was her fathers car so i'm sure u'd need more then i offered to get it... and i'd need to get more info before i'd throw that kind of money at it... glad she turned me down.

My 428 SJ R code. Close Ratio Top Loader. I changed the 3:25 locker rear to 4:30 gears and added the external Oil Cooler to make it look like an SCJ.  With no P/S and rim blow steering wheel. What pain to park without blowing the horn!! I wish I had not sold it 4 years ago.
