Temporary engine swap

Hello everyone, my 71 Mach 1 M code needs some work. The engine needs to be redone, the clutch pedal is low and the 4 speed needs new synchros. I intend to do this over time but don’t have the funds now. I do have a Boss 302 motor and a 5 speed all ready to go. Here’s my question, the Boss engine has a rear sump oil pan on it. I’m going to have to install a front sump oil pan. Is the oil pan needed the same as a regular 302 pan or is a different pan needed. Thanks

Regular pan. But you’ll also need the correct oil pickup as well.

The Boss 302 pan had a slosh baffle over the sump, but it was otherwise identical to the 302-2V pan.

Spectra makes 302 front sump pan with a simple slosh baffle at the rear of the sump, which uses a stock front sump pickup

Scott Drake makes a reproduction B302 pan/pickup, but I've seen reports of them leaking at the spot welds.
